Overview
Big AI Assistant was introduced as a business solution to boost team productivity — helping answer questions based on company documents, regulations, and internal knowledge. Companies could customize their AI Bot without code: simply click, upload documents, and let the bot learn.
However, feedback from users and stakeholders highlighted the need for an upgrade. BigAssistant v2 was developed with AI Model Aggregator, Meeting Summarization, and new productivity features, while leveraging the momentum of the BigBox → BigBox AI rebranding at the BATIC forum to present a more modern, clean, and enterprise-ready identity ( Link )
Objective
Fix human error (HE) and usability issues identified in v1.
Redesign with minimum technical effort while delivering a fresh and modern experience.
Provide a seamless AI model switch, allowing users to change models effortlessly.
Discovery & Challenge
Tight release timeline → only 2 months from design to production.
Seamless UI flow → especially for voice-to-voice and meeting summarization features.
Free trial introduction → required a shift in registration flow from closed to open-to-public.
Pricing page redesign → needed to be transparent and aligned with enterprise positioning.
Brand expectations → the new design had to reflect BigBox AI’s futuristic and scalable identity.
Design & Delivery Results
BigAssistant v2 followed the principle of “minimum technical effort, maximum refreshment”. The v1 backend structure was retained, while updates focused on visual refresh, flow improvements, and component consistency.
Problem → Solution Mapping
Login Flow
Problem (v1): Plain design, weak first impression, no differentiation.
Solution (v2): WebGL background animation for a futuristic AI feel, airy layout with focused login panel, and clean typography & spacing for a professional look.
Chatroom
Problem (v1): Crowded, looked like a generic chat app; citations and content overlapped, difficult to read.
Solution (v2): Clean & airy layout, unified sidebar navigation, clear content hierarchy (questions, answers, sources), neutral typography, and minimal distractions for long-form conversations.
Design Vision
Clean visual direction → neutral colors, fewer distractions.
WebGL background animation → immersive, futuristic feel on login & onboarding.
Modern UI details → glassmorphism cards, airy spacing, light typography → elegant, enterprise-ready style.
Evolution of Chatroom Design
v1 — Crowded & Generic → Dense layout, resembled a basic chat app, hard to identify starting points.
v1.5 — Transitional Fix → Improved readability, but navigation still inconsistent.
v2 — Clean & Futuristic → Airy layout, unified sidebar, WebGL animation → clear positioning as an AI enterprise platform.

Potential Impact
Lead Growth → modern design + open trial flow → higher potential for new user sign-ups and lead generation.
Competitive Advantage → AI Model Aggregator + Bot Builder → a unique value proposition not offered by competitors.
Usability Enhancement → smoother flows and navigation → users onboard faster and boost productivity.
Closing Highlight
BigAssistant v2 is more than a feature upgrade — it is a complete transformation. From a generic chatbot builder into an enterprise-grade AI platform with model aggregation, meeting summarization, knowledge management, and a futuristic design language.
With this direction, BigAssistant is now ready to drive business productivity while reinforcing the new identity of BigBox AI in the enterprise market.
